Val d'Or wedding
venue is nestled at the foothills of the Cape
Wineland's magnificent Franschhoek Mountains.
This beautiful Franschhoek wedding venue is set
on 35ha of wine farm and is only minutes from
the village we know as the gourmet capital of
South Africa.
We understand that a wedding is one of the most
important occasions in a person's life and we

At the Val d'Or wedding venue we can assure
you of our commitment in providing you with an exceptional and memorable
Franschhoek wedding experience.
Val d'Or is an intimate venue and can accommodate weddings of up to 60
guests indoors and up to 80 guests in- and outdoors.
Each wedding is tailor-made to your needs and we will make every effort to
make your Franschhoek wedding a unique one.
Val d'Or guest house and self catering
accommodation is one of Franschhoek's most luxurious accommodation
establishments to stay.
To add to this, Val d'Or is arguably the most beautiful of wedding venues in
Franschhoek.
There could be no better place to start your new life together than Val d'Or
Estate.
The rates
below are merely a guideline.
From R7500 to R15 000 for the venue hire.
The
venue hire does include the following:
• Tables and chairs (indoors only)
• White damask table linen and napkins
• Silver cutlery
• White crockery
• Elegant glassware
• PA system (indoors only)
• Flowers in the bathrooms and reception area
• We also supply 4 x waiters
Chair covers are available and charged for on request from R25 each.
A refundable breakage and loss surcharge of R35 per person will be charged
on all functions.
The wedding venue at Val d’Or will be at your disposal until 00h30 – after
which R1000 will be levied per hour or part thereof. Please note that, in
the event of Val d’Or hosting another wedding the next day, this arrangement
might not be possible – thus the reception having to end at 00h30 latest.
The
wedding party is encouraged to book all the rooms at Val d’Or guest
house and self catering units for at least one evening (the night of the
wedding). The reason for this is twofold:
• It allows our staff to pay their undivided attention to your wedding.
• Not to upset other guests at Val d’Or as far as shared space and late
night music is concerned..
